Karnevalsgesellschaft Rheinischer Verein since 1890 in Chicago.

In 1890, German Immigrants from the Rheinland formed our club. Conditions during the 1890’s were much different from today.

Originally to become a member of our club, you had to be from the Rheinland, Köln, Düsseldorf or Mainz the traditional Hochburgen des Karnevals. Karneval membership was exclusively male and traditions where strictly adhered to.

Today, over a hundred years later we accept all sponsored newcomers. Our mission statement is to uphold our Rheinland Karneval traditions.
