 Masquerade Ball '09

Almost 1000 Karnevalisten partied with us at the beautiful Ballroom in the

Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont. Costumes ranged from the

risqué to a moving Berlin Wall....or a Dancing Outhouse....or "The Seven Deadly Sins"

....or DDR Border Patrol heckling us for our "papers".

Phenix and Alpen Echos gave us a variety of German and Cajun tunes. The

stimmung was great, the food(suckling pig) was excellent, and the beer glasses,

too small (really!).

    The Masquerade Parade was outstanding, everyone was trying to cash in on the

placement prizes!
